Oggy
Oggy is constantly victim to the roaches and through them, also prey to Bob the dog. As for Jack’s «save the day» strategies, they generally turn against Oggy. Oggy is a clean freak and his house has to be spick and span. Roaches in Oggy’s clean sweet home, are the sign of a life’s failure.
These horrible, filthy little vermin are always making him go against his nature which is relaxed, Lazy. All he really wants to do is watch his pathetic TV shows, sprawled in his pink bean bag chair…
JOEY, THE LEADER
Egotistical, vicious, belligerent, cynical and terribly sadistic, Joey is the «charismatic» Leader of the gang. If he could talk he would make a very moving speech about how the oppressed cockroach people will rise up and be liberated.
He is always devising new strategies in order to achieve his goals. For Joey things are black and white: he hates Oggy!
For years he has been trying to take over the house for himself and his people.
DEEDEE, THE BELLY
A fat grease ball, disgusting and incredibly lazy to boot. Deedee has only one thing on his mind: stuff his face. And whenever food is involved in Joey’s plans, Deedee is 200 percent behind him.
Deedee and Oggy share the same gourmet taste. This is in fact one of the main reasons for their mutual hostility.
Like Marky, he is in complete admiration of Joey and he will follow him to the end of the world.
MARKY, SECOND IN COMMAND
Not very intelligent, Marky is incapable of taking the slightest initiative, but he is an enthusiastic participant in each of Joey’s crazy plans. A limp dishrag, totally lethargic. This guy’s laziness is almost as great as his stupidity.
It’s hard to see how he could possibly be dangerous… except that when you think about it… Marky follows. If Joey is devising a devilish plan, then Marky is involved.
JACK, OGGY’S COUSIN
Jack is a real time bomb on four pans. He is naturally aggressive and totally impulsive. He has decided to turn Oggy, his pampered, comfy, bourgeois cousin, into a cat, a real cat!
Jack is the ideal witness to all of the horrors that the roaches inflict on Oggy. And he is always there to pick up his cousin’s pieces.
OLIVIA
Olivia is a kind, lovely and a nature-loving cat. Whenever she finds something exciting and new, she would like her’ friends to join her.
OGGY, THE SERIES
He’s blue, he’s a good guy and he wouldn’t hurt a fly. Here is OGGY, the only cat the word “feline” can’t apply to.
He would be the happiest of cats if three hideous cockroaches hadn’t decided to settle inside his comfortable home: JOEY, DEEDEE, and MARKY. They are ugly, stupid, nasty and determined to make Oggy’s life a misery.
It’s fast, it’s crazy and it’s hilarious… it’s OGGY AND THE COCKROACHES!
